"I want to share another Sweethaven-inspired layout with you as part of the Sweethaven Scrapbooking Challenge, and friends, it's PRETTY. I have the pleasure of working with Jaz Lee over at Webster's Pages and her style blows me away every. single. time.
Jaz decided to create a layout about some of her closest friends. They call themselves the "Joy Luck Club" (JLC are the first initials in each of their names.) The girls in Sweethaven call themselves "The Circle" and their old scrapbook is page after page highlighting their friendship...
Each page reveals a little more about each girl, about their lives in Sweethaven, about their friendships...wouldn't you love to have something so special on your bookshelf?
And, I can't go without pointing out the incredible dimension Jaz has created on this layout. Her style is so intricate, it makes me drool! Detailed and beautiful, she's captured these special friendships in a way that will be cherished for years.

Altered vintage dressform;)

Hello there everyone,
Here, I would like to share with you the Altered Kaisercraft Dress Form Chipboard Project.

Thank you Sharon & Betty @ Laine's Papeterie for the fun of doing up this Dressform. Using mostly my atf webster's pages...*wink*. Also this was a project I did for Webster's Pages X Glue Arts.

This is a gift for my mom who loves Audrey Hepburn. Thus I have chose to make a vintage dressform using old storybook papers, which I lace punched at the bottom.

I painted the Kaisercraft dressform chipboard with white acrylic paint. Using the Webster's Pages " All About Me" paper, I did up the top of the dress, and a big hat cutout from Webster's Pages Western Romance paper.

I attached a lil journal card cd box holder at the back of the dressform for writing my love note for mom and finally glam up the project by embellishing it with lots of pretty embellishments using Prima Flowers, Glitz stickers, Webster's Pages flowers, pin and vintage cameos.

The vintage Audrey Hepburn brooch and the pearl brooch are my mom's ;)

Happy creating yours, make it pretty and bring a smile to yourself and your mom !!

I kept seeing this nicely wrapped gift. under the xmas tree. someone left it there . at the True Love Christmas Party at my place on 24th Dec.Too busy too busy with 30 adults and 10 kids at the Party!! lol Had a great time celebrating His love. Thank you all that help made this party successful!

ooooo and then.... When it was time to open our presents, i kept asking sweet lulu if she was the one that gave me that huge gift lol {because i think i saw her coming in with it but she kept giggling everytime i asked her about it lol} ..THEN....I tore open the wrapper.....and SQUELLLLLLL! Sizzix from hubby dearest!!! o my!!!! And thx Lulu for planning and helping out simon to get this lovely surprise gift!! Plus so many dies!!!

Hello everyone, with Christmas just around the corner, I am sure how everyone is getting busy with Christmas plannings and shoppings!!

Last Saturday was an exciting evening for Simon and me. His very first cello performance.Wow.

The Holiday Concert was hosted by a very sweet & talented couple, whereby Audrey plays the piano & cello and Richard is a skilled guitarist. Everyone ushered in a beautiful holiday cheer (er-herm including simon...lol) .
Besides the music, great food and my, what a beautiful warm house.

It was definitely a great evening to remember...

Here are all the details and you can learn more on the Webster's Pages Blog!

What we’re looking for:

Scrapbookers, papercrafters and card makers who 1. LOVE Webster’s Pages 2. Will help promote Webster’s Pages through their work, as well as through social media including a personal blog, InspireMe, Facebook & Twitter. 3. Love to share their ideas to help inspire others to create beautiful and simple projects.

International designers are welcome to apply.

Specific requirements and compensation details are provided upon invitation to the team. However we would like to mention that regular creation of projects and online participation are requirements for this team, and compensation is provided through a generous amount of product as well as monetary compensation for hard copy published items and trade show/advertising assignments. The term will be until the end of 2012.

Please note that Webster’s Pages Design Team members will be limited to being on no more than 3 paper manufacturing teams total.

To apply send an email to wpdt@websterspages.com with the following information:

Provide a one or two paragraph biographical statement telling us a little bit about you and your scrapbook experience including any publication history, design team experience, teaching experience (in stores and/or online), etc.
Explain in one paragraph why you would be a great addition to the Webster’s Pages design team.
Include a link to any online galleries you participate on (please include your user name and make sure that online galleries do not have a login requirement) and your blog (if you have one).
Attach a scan or photograph of 3 layouts or projects that you feel best represent your style. Images must be no larger than 600x600 px. Using Webster’s Pages is always welcome but not required.
Please include your name, address, phone number and email address. Confirmation emails will NOT be sent. Notifications will be made by email or telephone in January.
Applications must be received by December 31st.

I know i have been forsaking my blog. i was very busy with lotsa happy things. sharing these photos taken at the SRCC Chalet and heart that evening that we had a lovely quiet dinner by the sea. We at Laine's get to play with some stars and I had some starry fun!

JAZ says : " This National Day, I wish everyone in Singapore lots of LOVE. May we continue to ROAR together as ONE people, ONE nation, ONE Singapore"

Star 1: Using the star template "star 1-1" attached, I did up a pop up star. Then decorated the stars with lots of pretty embelishments. Materials: Webster's Pages,Melissa Frances.

Star 2: Started with a pink doily , cut out the shape of a star from a chipboard, glitter it. Using a lil birdy with some flowers as the embelishments.

Star 3: Decided to go vintage on this one. Cut out a star shape from an old storybook paper, paste it onto a chipboard piece. Decorate with doily and antique charm. Fabric embellishment from Webster's Pages.

Star 4: Cut out a star shape from a chipboard, dress it up with patterned paper, added some trims and a vintage charm.

Star 5: Using Graphic 45 Patterned Paper "The Cirque Collection". Using the cutouts to embellish the star, added some Prima flowers and rub-ons from Melissa Frances.

All the sticks are recycled chopsticks, twirled with washi tapes!!

I hope you have fun with STARS too!!

It's going to be about a five day break for the kids here in Singapore ;) So which means busy time for mommies and daddies. Simon & Faith were lucky enough to attend the NDP full dressed rehearsal and Faith could not stop talking about it! Kai went with his school and had a blast! Many of you may know me ..teehee ;) , but not many of you know that I am actually a fallen victim to Rheumatoid Arthritis.

It all happened abt 3 years ago , I had suffered much but I thank God for holding my hands tightly and walking through the dark alley with me...Although rheumatoid arthritis never goes away, God sent me one of the best Rheumatologist, found the best medications I need. Adapting family life, relationships and daily chores to the realities of pain and fatigue is a daily fact of life with rheumatoid arthritis. but I thank God for He stays with me, He sends me good friends and Simon & the kids are always with me, faithfully with lots of love....my twin, my sisters, what would i do without them....and I could now live a normal life.

With these said, the more you should know by now, how much I treasure all of you, my friends, from near and far.. who makes the effort to understand me. For forgiving me when I don't appear in some gatherings, and for just being there for me...

and I treasure all of you that makes the effort to know me better, my students that become my friends...how blessed...i thank you, all of you , that come to my classes and some of you, I may not have the opportunity to meet you yet....I am so appreciative how you make my classes exciting and fun every month. Thank you for this faith that you all have in me....

Thank you Grace and Tania for this special feature. It is just a small article, but am honoured to be able to have this opportunity to encourage many out there, who may be in the same condition as me..but remember.... do live life to the fullest okie?

The evening went well,

True enough,

We had a great great family time.

How is everyone doing? Busy scrapping?

I have been so busy. Faith got an eyesore, apparently after a swim the other day. Could have been caused by the water from the pool. sigh. Today, somehow, I spent some nice time having her at home with me ;) And how glad I am that she is better now. She is going back to school tomorrow and I hope she will be fine.

For the month of July, we got to play with some Jenni Bowlin's products. I chose the butterflies and Bingo cards. Did up a lil banner too ;) These pages are being displayed at Laine's Papeterie now ;)

Hi everyone, This is Jaz and I'm here to present July's Challenge "Beautiful Bloomers" at Webster's Pages inspireMe.....

Friendships and fashion has gone BLOOMING this season with romantic bloomers. Webster's Pages Bloomers are sweet and gorgeous as ever...

I get all warm and fuzzy and sweetly smitten when it comes to the bloomers. Here I have used them in a layout"Bloom the brightest", altered them onto my shirt and on the party hats.....I hope these will inspire you ;)

So my challenge to you is to use Webster's Pages Bloomers. and the details are as follows:

July Challenge

You can create a layout, a card or any altered projects using Webster's Pages Bloomers ;)

The majority of your project must contain Webster’s Pages products.

1. The project must use Bloomers and Webster's Pages Papers

2. You must post your project in the gallery under the file name "July Challenge - (title of your project)" and post a link in this thread at inspireME.

3. The challenge will be open from July 1st to July 31st, 12 midnight PST.

Prize will be winner’s choice of Webster’s Pages Paper Collection

RAD Ballet Summer Camp @ The Dance Station. The ballerinas had the best of time in dancing and absurdly lucky to have been close and personal with two prominent figures in the dancing scene, Mr David and Ms Sue from UK.

A week of crazy sending here and there...but...Their mommies, gosh! chatted and laughed and ate and ate!! Such nice bonding time with sis and friends who are so nice to be with. simple pleasure in life.absolutely. Thank you mommy ballerinas for your great and warm company and for all the lovely gifts ;)
